Cookies Policy

This site does not set cookies. It saves your calculator entries in your own browser so you do not have to type them again.

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site save information on your device. Both can remember choices or settings between visits.

2. What this site stores

We do not set any cookies of our own. We use one item of local storage, described below.

NameTypePurposeHow long
payroll-hours-calculator.v1Local storage, first partySaves your calculator entries and settings (times, breaks, hourly rate, currency, overtime rules, workweek start day and pay period) so they are there when you come back.Until you press Reset all or clear your browser’s site data.

This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.

3. What we do not use

  • No advertising or marketing cookies.
  • No analytics or tracking cookies.
  • No third-party scripts, fonts or social media widgets that set their own cookies.

Because we do not use tracking or advertising technology, we do not show a cookie banner.

4. Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to run the site. These logs are not cookies. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. How to remove saved data

  • Press Reset all in the calculator to clear your saved entries and restore the sample data.
  • Or clear site data for this website in your browser settings. In most browsers, look for Privacy or Site settings, then Cookies and site data.
  • Private or incognito windows do not keep local storage after you close them.

If you block local storage, the calculator still works. It just will not remember your entries next time.

6. If this changes

If we later add analytics, advertising or other tools that use cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
